See All ReviewsBeen going to this place for years. This morning, will be the last time. They raised their prices because of eggs going up in price. Fine, no big deal. Do you think they have came down any since the prices have went down, NOPE! The size of the pita has gone down big time. I usually order breakfast and lunch at the same time so I have something at work. In the past, I have been ASKED "hey, would you like me to separate the lettuce tomato so things will not be soggy at lunch?" I thought, wow, that's a great idea never thought of that. So, today when I asked for it to be done, they wanted to charge me .25 for a box to put everything in. Wait, what?? I told the girl, no, they've never put that in a box. They wrapped it up in a deli paper. Just wrap it in the paper and don't charge me for a box because I don't need a box. The girl told me the OWNER had said that. So, okay, I know the owner, (been coming here for years!) then a younger man said can I help you.(Never seen this kidbefore- he was not the owrner that I have talked to for years- the owner that would come from the back from cooking and say hi to me.) I explained the whole thing again, and let them know that I wouldn't be back,. AND they lost a long time customer over .25 cents. SO- One of two things- ONE either they are under new managment OR this is not the original owner and this is his SON. I was hesitant to even pay for my food wondering if they would do something to my food and yes, I take two bites out of my bacon pita and there is something gritty like dirt in it. SO- BEWARE- Not the same famous sandwich that I have know for years.
Staff is so friendly. Always support your small local businesses! Food was fantastic reminds me of when I was a kid.
Idk how there famous! I ordered a chicken Philly on sub and got a regular Philly in a pita pocket. So I paid over 16 dollars for a meal to not be able to eat it. I will never go back there. The Philly in a pita, why anyone would want it that way, was terrible even if I would have originally ordered that I'd still be upset at the taste, quality and price. One bite and it went in the trash. Terrible so now spending more money on food I can actually eat. The fries were ok.
